After spending 14 years in the health insurance field, Joyce decided to return to school to pursue her interest in the connection between nutrition and health.  Working at a diabetes outpatient center inspired her to become a Certified Diabetes Educator.   Joyce has been a diabetes education specialist for over 20 years, and provides counseling for: cholesterol control, weight management, heart disease, kidney disease, gastrointestinal diseases, as well as other nutrition related disorders.
