Joyce Berenson is a Registered Dietitian and Certified Diabetes Educator. Joyce earned a Bachelor of Science degree in Nutrition and completed her dietetic internship at California State Polytechnic University, Pomona. She is a member of the American Diabetes Association, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and the American Association of Diabetes Educators.
After spending 14 years in the health insurance field, Joyce decided to return to school to pursue her interest in the connection between nutrition and health. Working at a diabetes outpatient center inspired her to become a Certified Diabetes Educator. Joyce has been a diabetes education specialist for over 20 years, and provides counseling for: cholesterol control, weight management, heart disease, kidney disease, gastrointestinal diseases, as well as other nutrition related disorders.
In the past, having diabetes meant following a strict, “one size fits all” diet, and giving up many of your favorite foods. As a Certified Diabetes Educator, Joyce personalizes diabetes management to fit your lifestyle.

Karina has been working as a Registered Dietitian for over 10 years. She earned her Bachelors of Science from Loma Linda University. As a result of her internship and experience at varied clinical settings, she can meet the diverse needs of her patients. Her specialties include diabetes management, weight management and renal (kidney disease), among other areas of interest.
Karina continues to expand her professional knowledge by staying up to date on nutrition related topics. She is passionate about serving others, loves to educate and enjoys spending time with family and friends, cooking and outdoor activities.

Tracy has worked in the health and fitness industry for over 30 years as a Registered Dietitian and Personal Trainer. She truly believes that proper nutrition and exercising regularly is fuel for the body and soul. Her ability to tailor diet and exercise programs to meet her client’s individual needs is what she loves most about her career. Whether the goal is to manage a chronic condition, lose weight, enhance sports performance, or simply to feel great, Tracy is committed to helping you achieve maximum results in the least amount of time.
Dalila Ruiz has been a Registered Dietitian for 4 years. She earned her Master of Science degree in Nutrition and Dietetics from Loma Linda University and her Bachelor of Science degree in Exercise Science from La Sierra University. Dalila chose a career in nutrition after experiencing the benefits of lifestyle management firsthand. That experience fuels her fervor for empowering others to take control of their health. Growing up in Southern California, she saw a need for compassionate, culturally-sensitive, personally-tailored health education and what a difference it can make. She has experience working as a clinical and community dietitian at Riverside-San Bernardino County Indian Health’s Nutrition & WIC departments where she helped people of all ages and dietary needs learn to eat well. Dalila can teach you about: diabetes, weight management, heart disease, gastrointestinal diseases, as well as other nutrition-related disorders. Her passion lies in diabetes education, teaching patients with diabetes how to control their blood glucose, regain control of their lives, and continue to enjoy their meals too!
Melissa is a Registered Dietitian Nutritionist specializing in weight management, sports nutrition, eating disorders, and gastrointestinal disorders. She is a member of the American Diabetes Association, the Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics, and the American Association of Sports Dietetics.Melissa is also a full-time professor in the Department of Kinesiology and Public Health at Cal Poly. Melissa has been a Dietitian for the last 18 years and has degrees from U.C. Riverside and Loma Linda University.

Sherri earned her Bachelor of Science in Nutrition from Loma Linda University and her Master’s in Human Nutrition from University of New Haven. She is a member of the American Academy of Nutrition and Dietetics. She has been passionate about health since her late teens, understanding then what you eat is the cornerstone of a healthy lifestyle. Sherri is a registered dietitian nutritionist for over 20 years, specializing in clinical and medical nutrition therapy. As science keeps evolving in the medical field she feels nutrition is the framework for good health no matter what the disease is. Whether you have diabetes, metabolic syndrome, gastro-intestinal conditions, are overweight, are pregnant, have an eating disorder or any other medical condition, she will work with you to help you achieve your goals, to become healthy and well, using nutrition as the foundation for wellness.
